Welcome joyc21!! I haven't posted in a while, it's been a bit of a rocky start to the month. You are making good progress going through the 180's. I am finally down to 183, hope to be moving on soon! Hope you have a good end to the week!

I'm moving right along. Down to 185.0 today. Only 5 more pounds to go. I'm going to the beach for the weekend though so I'm a little nervous about staying on track!

I'm back from my weekend away and I'm afraid to get on the scale today. I think I'm going to wait for my "official" weigh-in which is tomorrow. Overall, I didn't do as bad as I could've. I stayed within a reasonable amount of calories, but I ate primarily fast food for the whole weekend. I did manage to work out at the hotel gym though. Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Well, I said I wouldn't, but I weighed myself today anyway and I was 186.2. That's up 1.2 lbs. from the last time I weighed (Friday).....my official weigh-in is tomorrow, and if this weight sticks that would mean only a .4 weight loss from last week .....But I'm still moving forward.

Here's hoping it doesn't stick, probably excess sodium from the fast food. Drink tons of water to flush your system. I have somehow amanged to loose 2 pounds over the last week. I haven't been able to run in 2 weeks, @ my dr's request. Hopefully I will get all my test results back tuis week, and he will release me. We are leaving Saturday for a week at the beach, and I so wanted to be able to run on the beach. Anyway, let us know tomorrow!!

My official weigh-in today was 186.0. That's down .6 lbs. from last week. It's short of my goal but it's better than nothing at all. I'm not going to get discouraged (not yet anyway).....

BabyBoop, congrats on the 2 lbs. That is my goal for this week. Keep up the good work.

According to the scale I'm 184.6 today. It's good for my pshyche, but I'm not recording anything until my official weigh-in on Tuesday since last week the scale went down and then shot back up on me......I'm hoping that this sticks though. And I'd be even happier if it was an even 184 by Tuesday.

I have been on the forum for a few weeks and have found the support from others has been amazing! I weighed in this morning at 183lbs I am hoping to be out of the 180's very soon. The last time I weighed less than 180lbs was 6 years ago. I was down to 181 a couple months ago but added some weight so I started back to the program about 4 weeks ago and I started at 191lbs. So I am down 8 lbs in 4 weeks hopefully in the next couple weeks I will be out of the 180's! Good job everyone with your progress! You are all an inspiration to me to keep on moving!!

I'm so excited to join you lovely ladies. I got waaay off track for a while there, I moved to a new town and everything fell apart. But then I got sick and was stuck in bed for a few days and I'm just so excited to be better that I'm taking care of myself again. And, as always, I feel better instantly. I even imagine that my clothes look better when the scale goes down a couple pounds...does anyone else have this happen to them? Who cares if it's real, it puts a bounce in my step Hope you're all having a good week and can keep up the good work and we'll all be out of here soon!

I actually weighed in on Monday but hadn't had a chance to come post. But I weighed in at 181 lbs! I am almost done with the 180's I am so excited I haven't been less than this weight in 6 years and I can't wait to hit a new low.

Nicci~ I believe a few pounds can change how you look and feel! Good for you for your success! I had to start over about a month ago at 191 which isn't far from your starting point and I am shorter. The 10 lbs I have lost really does make the difference between a size 12 and a 14 for me! So a small amount can definitely make a difference I also have noticed a huge difference in inches because I have been exercising.

I weighed in today at 185.8.

I think too, a few pounds makes anyone feel better.

I have my favorite pair of jeans....that I use to have to lay down to button them up after I washed/dried them.

I noticed last week, I didn't have to lay down to button them. They just went on....no jumping up and down....or grunts or anything!

And this week....I feel like they are baggier in the butt area and fit different.

I even feel like my t-shirts fit differently. lol

It's great!!

Unfortunately I've done this whole thing before...twice. So I know how incredible it feels to be down. I'm afraid though that if I don't figure out why I went back up eventually both times, I'll never get to a real maintenance stage. For now, I'm just looking forward to how good my clothes used to...and will again...look on me.

Hello ladies! Glad to see everyone making progress. Keep up the good work.....Unfortunately for myself I keep bouncing around between 184 and 187. My eating has not been consistent so I'm sure that's the reason. But I'm working on getting myself together. I WILL be out of the 180s before the end of this month.
