Single, no children 30-somethings?
I am feeling a bit down on myself. Just wondering if there are any other single with no children 30-something year old ladies out there?

Well I'm not single but often feel like I don't belong because I don't have kids. Around here having kids is "what you do".

I just turned 40 in March, so I guess I don't technically count, but it's pretty close.
It was hard in my 20's being single w/o kids, because all my friends were having weddings and babies. And it was hard in my 30's being single w/o kids, because my friends' lives revolved around their kids and when we'd get together the spouse would usually be there and I felt like a third wheel. But over the last year or so, it's gotten easier. The kids are graduating high school and moving on, and the marriages, while still solid, have moved to a level of more independence (meaning they don't spend every waking moment together!). So, my friends' lives are starting to be a lot more like mine, and it's easier to be single w/o kids.
If you're asking those panicked "Am I ever going to get married and have children?" questions, I can't help, because I chose this lifestyle, and am basically content with it.

Well I fit this, sort of.
I am 32, well I will be in a couple months.
I am single, as in not married, but I have a ... boyfriend (I hate the term boyfriend/girlfriend for people over 30). We have been together 12 years.
We have no children. At least not the human kind. I have a zoo of children; a dog, a guinea pig, two turtles and three fish.

I'm 40 and single with no children. You could call me a spinster
I decided not to have children very early on, so I never felt bad about it. I love not having kids and I don't know how parents do it. It's a tough job.
I am an aunt to two beautiful children and I love that. I get to visit and love them, but I am not responsible for their welfare.
I LOVE being single with no children. However, I am dating and most of the guys I date have children.
A lot of women I know have had children late in life. A close friend had her first child at 40 and my sister had her first at 35.

I'll be 28 in September so I'm a couple of years shy of really counting for this thread, but I have a boyfriend, and absolutely no intention of having children, as I utterly detest them. My two brothers have 7 kids between them and have always known better than to ask me to babysit. I've refused every bribe and offer of money imaginable . Horrid things >.<

I am 30 and got married last October....I get asked almost on a daily basis when we are having children. It is like a stigma the second you enter the world of the 30 somethings you are suddenly old and better rush into having children argh!! I know how you feel hunny! xoxo

I'm kinda like mizb1978! Not married but with the same guy since I was 16. (there was a 3 year hiatus, but we got back together) Now I'm 36, no kids, 1 cat. Although I get no pressure to have kids, I'm still leery!

I'm 36, single and no kids( I have the furry kind. I have a shih tzu who'll be 13years old in Sept.) Not having kids doesn't bother me, being single sometimes does. I long to have that lifelong, best friend to come home to.

I'm 30 and going to be 31 in August and I have a boyfriend of several years and no children and no wedding plans There's a lot of family pressure to have children, none to get married however lol. Yes we do plan to marry and have children (asap in my head lol) but when we are ready and stable financially.

I'm 31, single, no kids. I often feel like the third wheel, which sucks. But I have the best friend ever who includes me in everything. Her husband is great too. It is hard sometimes but I try to go to everything, even as the third wheel. I would love to get married someday but I am unsure about kids. I think I will be fine without having my own kids. I'm ok with having stepkids. I am starting to feel like I'll never get married though, which makes me sad because I do want to.

It's nice hearing from you ladies. I am not sure if I want to have kids either, but it would be nice to have the support of a sig. other/husband. I do still have some friends my age who are single and don't have kids, but by far the vast majority are married and/or have kids. It makes me feel out of place though as the numbers of my friends like me are dwindling.
