Default Hello

Hi,

My name is Becky, I am a 33 year old mom or three wonderful children ages 14,13 and 10. I work full time and am attending graduate school. I find it so hard to make time for myself and as a result have gained so much weight in the past three years. I am making an effort to start by walking every evening and changing my eating habits. I tend to eat when I am stressed and hopefully will find some great solutions to help combat stress. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Becky

I eat when I'm stressed as well...and who wouldn't be with all we have to do!! I have children as well (11, 8, 3, 1) and have a home daycare. We are on Summer Break right now, but I also home school our children.

What are you working towards in school?

I try to look at exercise time as a gift I am giving myself and my family. It really helps my stress level and makes our home happier! Yes, I do have to do it at odd times of day (like 5:30am or 9:00pm) but it's WAY worth it. I use my own two feet when the weather is good, and exercise videos when it is not.

Blessings!!

Howdy! I'm Mollie, a working student with no actual children, but I take care of a husband, 2 cats and a dog (do they count as children??).

Bmwbabies: to the 30-somethings!! Enjoy your time here!

Hey, nice to meet you! Sounds like you are headed in the right direction. I'm a mother of 1 teenage guy that is quickly getting taller and taller than me, hehe. Sounds like you have your hands full with some serious teenage hormones yourself which makes it easy to get stressed, huh?!

Hi All,

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I am working towards my MBA....only three classes to go! With teenagers comes drama...I don't remember things being so dramatic when I was a teenager. I already feel better since I started walking every night. I usually only walk about 30 minutes but it's a start. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Have a great day.

Welcome Becky!

I went and got my MBA b/f having my son... There were MANY times, I left work, went and exercised and went to class all sweaty in my work out clothes b/c I didn't have time to shower! It is hard to squeeze it in, but you will find a way!

Hi Becky!

Welcome! I hope you find the support you are looking for

Stress is something I can relate to. It is difficult but not impossible to deal with, right?

Welcome again
