It looks like I am officially out of this thread (yay!), I've been below 189 for almost a week now, so I think I can safely call this actual loss.
Hey JayMar, So happy for you and props for working so hard!! You are an inspiration to me I am definitely going to do my budget and work in a gym membership/ personal trainer this summer- I am glad it is working so well for you.
We really can't afford the trainer, but the gym I belong to let me have a flexible payment plan. I haven't worked in over a year and a half, so we are pinching in a little on some things.
But really, I've found we were spending a lot of money on diet unfriendly things. Dinners out (I invite friends over more now rather than meet out), movie popcorn and sodas, snacks when we were going out on errands, so I'm hoping it will all balance out in the end.
Hey. Chickies! I'm declaring myself a part of your group. I saw 199.8 on the scale this morning and although it isn't an "official" weight (those are my Tuesday morning weights) I figure it qualifies me to join you.
I hope my duration is brief, but in reality it'll probably take me about a month and a half to get out of here!
I am in. I started my weight loss journey 3 weeks ago with the help of a nutritionist. I was at a whopping 202 lbs. I went back a week later - down 2.7 lbs :-). I am scheduled for my weigh in this evening so hopefully it will be a good number. I am so ready to be out of the 190s.
Welcome everyone! I have had a good week. Haven't felt much like running, and tried to talk myself out of it Tuesday night, but my husband told me I'd feel better if I just did it. He was so right! i'm so in ...i'm so desperate to get out of the 190s! i'm going 2 push myself really hard 2 get there. i pray that i can get to 189 soon. i've never been down to 189 my entire adult life...only in my childhood.
