Just wondering if anyone else gains when they are sick? I have always noted a trend that I gain anywhere from 3-5 lbs when I am sick and on antibiotics.

I am entering week 2 of antibiotics plus I am on a steriod this time. Ugh... Not only do they make me feel terrible but they hurt my stomach and make me grumpy and want to eat all day long. I did have a piece of cake last week and we ate KFC but I ate grilled chicken, corn, mash pot and skipped the gravy and the biscuit. No way should I have gained 4 lbs, right?

Oh the joy of yet another sinus infection.

I do too. Mostly because I lay around when I'm sick. I also only have so much self control, so when I don't feel well my diet takes a back seat.

Usually no, I'm too sick to eat anything other than liquids. However steroids are notorious for weight gain. They suck.
