Hi Ladies!

It's a picture perfect spring day here in SE PA!! I plan on taking my dog for a nice walk this afternoon then heading to the local park for a nice walk at least 3 miles worth.

I do have some homework and a quiz to take for class.

On the job hunt front, I had another interview Friday for a non-profit company in Center City Philadelphia. I think it went very well and it's work I've done before. It was 2 and half hours long! First was an A/P exam, which I did well on, then was a chat with the HR specialist, then the HR specialist went to talk to the A/P manager about the talk we had and my test and then I met with the A/P manager. I'm guessing that making it to the point of meeting the manager was a good thing. It's a temp position, but they said that the company is growing so it could lead to something perm for the right person. But even if it is simply temp, having the company's name and 3 months of experience at a Non-Profit organization is gonna open doors. After I got out of that, I got a call from another recruiter about a job I interviewd for last week. They want to see me for a second interview. But, I have a TON of apprehension about it, more questions than answers and the sinking feeling I'm walking into a sweat factory. That gut feeling that something isn't right with it, ya know? So I'll go the second interview, ask my questions. However that temp interview from yesterday...I felt so at home being there and in talking to them. I'm so EXCITED about this one! The atmosphere is very very professional! Everyone is treated with respect. I'd have to invest in some suits even. Which would not be a waste of money because I can alway break them up and wear the jacket with jeans and the dress pants with a sweater or something.

So please say a few dozen prayers that I get this temp job!

Jenn, that's awesome!! Sounds like the job market is slightly better in Philly than here in Northern Jersey!

Hoping you get the job Jenn.

Dh and I went to the pound today to visit our new adoptee. We can't bring her home until she's fixed. We walked her around the shelter for almost an hour. I fell in love with her Thursday and he fell in love today. lol We started calling her Roxy and had the shelter start using her name as well. Hopefully she will learn it by the time we get her Monday evening.

Dh and I also planted 15 lbs of potatoes today. The back of my legs are so sore from all that bending over.

Then I went to my sis's house and we mucked out manure for an hour. Then groomed all the horses. My arms are so sore! I also came home and worked in my flower garden for another 45 mintues. lol All of me is sore but boy did I get a good workout.

It was a beautiful day here but rain is moving in AGAIN tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday night.

Good luck with that, Jen!

The weather is beautiful here this weekend too and today will be even nicer than yesterday. I'm planning on getting my flower beds preped for planting. Next week my girlfriends and I will be doing out annual mad plant buy. I work for a contractor (I'm a Landscape Architect by training but mostly a stay-at-home Mom these days) very part time and one of the perks is getting plants at wholesale prices. We'll be headed off to the wholesale nursery to load up on pretties for this season. It's so fun to go and do a huge buy of flowers like that!

My veggie garden was planted a couple weeks ago with the cool-season stuff but now I need to go find me some warm season plants too. I can't wait to be eating FRESH veggies I grew myself. Healthy for the body and the mind to be connected like that to our food.

Have a great day everyone!

B, what do you plant? I've been wanting to have a garden. Was thinking of doing containers this year, because around here to deer, rabbits, squirrels and whatever else is around will get whatever I plant! Tomatoes are probably easy that way...what else?

Thanks for good luck everyone! I'm taking the second interview only as a way to practice my skills. That job is defiantely not the right fit for me. I'm so apprehensive about it that when I went to bed Sat at 11pm I didn't fall asleep until 4am!!! I was then up at 9am. That one I'm not excited about, the one from Friday...OMG I can't wait hear the decision!

If I don't get the one I want and passover the other one, I'll have no regrets. What good is taking a job if you're going to be miserable. The right one is close.
