Smile New Here...

Hi there, I'm Jeanette, I'm 32, and I've been on my weight loss journey since 2002. I reached my highest non-pregnancy weight January of 2008 of 183. I lost 33 lbs. from Jan. to June, 2008 and then slipped a little. I'm back on track now and I'm ready to work on the last 30 lbs. I'd love to be at 150 lbs. by the end of the month and in the 140's by the beginning of May. I'd love to be in the 130's by the summer-my in-laws would like to take DH, DD, and myself on a cruise to celebrate their wedding anniversary. I'd love to fit into my little black dress for that!! I can't wait to get all of you better! Thanks for reading!

I am also new to the site. I have started my last weight loss journey ( I hope). I have some what struggled with my weight for the past 20 years. When I was 13 I lost it seemed like 30 pounds over night and then when I was 18 it started again it did not help that I was pregnamt 3 times in 4 years. I was at my all time heaviest at 24 when I took some quite questionable diet pills and lost about 40 pounds. i kept it off for awhile but as you can imagine gained it right back. Then at 30 I lost again and did very well until now. My youngest just turned one and I can not hold on to that "pregnancy weight" excuse any longer. So 2 weeks ago I decided this was it. I was going to lose weight for my health, activity and self-esteem. I hope that it works this time. I have done well and lost 3.8 pounds so far. I am not going to cheat, make excuses or waiver this time. i will never be skinny I just want to be a better version of me..

Hi Jeanette! Us shorties have it rough don't we? I've always said if I was just a few inches taller my weight wouldn't be an issue LOL.

You've made great progress so far...keep it up!! Welcome.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Mommyofsix-wow!! I'm amazed and proud that you are doing well, too! I can't imagine weight loss with so many children.
LosingAmber-you're right!! If there were only a few more inches to distribute the weight...LOL!!!!
