Hello My Fellow 30- Somethings....

Been doing pretty good on the eats and exercise. Took today off from the gym as I had an apt. So went in, had the whole weigh in, blood pressure, temp thing done. I asked what the scale said... as she had her arm/notebook in the way. She mentioned the number, I gasp and say... I have clothes on. She goes, I know we take 5 off . So there I go. Happy, Blissful. I went on a really good scale and got a good number... the same number I have been seeing at my home scale. Ah, to see that number. To know it really is THAT number. So close to my goal. So close. Eeeeeeeep!!!
Other then waiting 45 minutes in the room, for my doc to only come in and talk less then 5 minutes... then done, the apts. done. GRR... I am glad I brought things for the kiddies to play with... but two young'uns can only be quiet for so long and the 45 minute wait was a tad long. Oh well. They did good. No ruining things, my youngest kept asking me what this or that and this was... Doctor stuff... no, you can't play with them.

What's with all the bad news... my prayers go out to the ones in need of them.

Diana- I'm not to familiar with WW, but what if instead of skipping dinner you had a nice big salad or something light. That way your still eating your dinner and staying within your point range for the day.

Wanda- Sorry to hear things aren't going great for you right now. I'm sending good vibes your way

Pearfreak-Your so close to goal...what a fantastic feeling that must be. God my kids would of been climbing the walls if we had to wait 45 min. for the doc. I hate when they do that....and like you said the doc comes in for 5 min. and sends ya on your way. Yay for the good news though...that's awesome!

Hello everyone...

I am new to this. It is kind of comforting knowing I am not the only one going through these weight issues. I am the heaviest one out of my friends and family. I am so sick of hearing "your such a pretty girl - you just need to lose weight". Like I dont know I need to lose weight... It makes me want to eat more!!!

Diana, Listen to me!! :slap: If you're target points are 30, you need to be consuming more than 24!! Try to eat closer to 30...because remember, you have the 35 flex points too! I've read post after post about how people start eating closer to their target points and they start losing.

I've had a horrible week, and I know that aside from PMS and too much crap in the house, a lot of it has to do with planning. If I don't plan, it ain't happenin'. So tonight I typed out what I plan on eating tomorrow. My points for the week are loooong gone, but I intend to be OP tomorrow.

Have a great evening all!

Welcome to the newbies!

I'm not around like I used to be these days since there's only so many hours in the day. My new schedule of getting up early to workout and then work have kept me busy.

Hope you all are doing well. If not, I hope things improve for you soon!
