Okay, most of you folks won't remember me, but that's okay, I wasn't around very long last time.
I joined at 100 pounds over weight and at the same time saying goodbye to my husband as he went off to enlist in the Army, that was almost exactly one year ago.
Now, here I am in Germany and 30 pounds lighter. We just got informed my husband is being deployed, and tomorrow is my 34th birthday. I have 15 months before he comes home (roughly) and I want to lose this 70 pounds!
I am going to get back to eating proper portions, eating breakfast (yuck), going low fat, and getting some exercise.
We live fifty feet from a nature trail that winds its way across the entire country of Germany. I have been hitting it, but not regularly because of the weather (it is already very deep fall here), but I do have a nifty recumbent bike that I can use without much pain to the ole knees and hips. We also have a gym here on post that I can use, if I can find child care for my girls.
Since arriving here I have met and fallen in love with edamame beans. I snack on them regularly, and since i have to shell them, I have to make sure I really want a snack!
Anyone, I am back, and raring to go.
