GOOD MORNING!!!

Only one week left til the kids start school here. I have decided to take them to the beach as a last hurrah today...they don't even know it yet. Hopefully the weather will hold out, it should.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Got on the scale, and discovered that after visiting my grandparents and the block party the other day, I did not gain anything. I can't believe it. I mean, I didn't LOSE anything, either, but I thought I might have picked up a pound or two. So glad to see I didn't. Now it's back to kicking butt time...I'm two pounds within my goal, will most likely change that goal to lose another 5 or so...we'll see.

Alright, girls. I need to get a little cleaning done aorund here before I can go anywhere. My house is a wreck. Hope you all have a lovely day. Check in tonight!!!

Cheers,
P

Pam... have a blast at the beach!!! Today is our first day back to work after vacation. I had to literally drag my patootie out of the bed this morning. LOL I hate that feeling. We had such a nice week. My kids go back on the 3rd so we still have clothes shopping to do for that. They don't get their supply lists until the first day so that's going to totally suck that night out supply shopping. I'll have to beat people over the head with a book bag for the last pack of loose leaf. LOL

GG... Go ahead, take another vaca!!! You deserve it!!! (Don't you wish you could??) LOL We were finding that our day trips were wiping us out and we needed a whole day to recuperate... We would just lay on the sofa and watch movies!! LOL That's the life!!

Lexi... I knew I knew your name from somewhere but I just couldn't place it!! When you said 3FC, I remembered... Thanks for adding me as a friend! I just love Sparkpeople!!!

Hello to everyone else as you post thru the day!! Enjoy!!

Hi chicks,

Had a good weekend, took Sunday completely off, ate what I wanted and rested. I feel great!

Getting ready to head up to Indy for another appt. with DD. Not looking forward to that, too many hours in the car, makes me tired.

GG, take a vacation in your mind when things get stressed, relive your Italian escapade.

Trish

Hello all,

I have not posted in a long time. Sorry.

I have been very busy at work. I have a rookie for a couple of months to train. So it will be very busy and hectic.

I have stayed on plan except for a couple of days last week. But I was just so wiped out I did not have the energy or the want to cook. But back on track today. I am aiming for 175 by december. That is only 21 pounds. So not to bad. I figured if I can lose between 5-7 pounds a month I will make it.

I need to start on a lot more excercising. Wish me luck.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Fergi

Hi All!

Busy Monday here. Slept like a log, until Peter came in at 3:48 am! Then I could get back to sleep until almost 4:30, then Robby came in at 6. Just as he was about to climb on the bed, DH came out of the bathroom and he saw the light on in the hall, so he left the room! So I got up (6 is my normal wake up). Ugh, I hate nights like that!

Karen, where's that indoor place you went? Need to think of winter indoor weekend activities!

Afternoon Everyone!

I decided to revamp my gym schedule and start going back in the morning or mid-morning. I like it much better because the gym isn't as busy, no waiting your turn for machines, etc. That and my kiddos like the girl in the Club Room. So, I went there, stretched, got on the first machine, listened to 1 1/2 songs on the Ipod and what where is my music? Gee, gotta love forgetting to charge it . So I just kept the headphones in (so noone would bother me ) and finished my workout... with no music. Went on the eliptical and boy, do that make me sweat. Love that kinda workout.

pmasci--- Hooray on not gaining anything!!! Good luck achieving your goal!!! I bet it will happen soon.

GatorgalstuckinGA--- Make sure you make some time for yourself. Even if you can't take another vacation, get pampered by taking a long bath or get your nails manicured, what ever. You'll feel refreshed.

poppyseeds--- That's cRaZy that you give you the list on the first day . UGH! I'd go ahead and buy some materials and hope that I have some of the correct things. Best of luck battling your way through the crowds.

RLK2005--- Be gentle on yourself... today is a new day.

CCmomof5--- Yay for you on taking Sunday off and treating yourself . We all deserve a good break time and again.

asaaan--- Sounds like your weekend went well and today thus far. Love those kind of days.

fergi--- Sounds like a good goal plan to me. I wish you luck!

LBH--- I so don't like those sleep nites either. Hoping tonights better.

hi everyone!

milleradah good to see you, sorry you have so much medical stuff!

Fergi sounds to me like you are doing great, you need to listen to your body, it is something we neglect to do and it is not good, I bet you are going to be just fine!
GG I hear you on the vacation thing!

Lauren sorry about your interrupted sleep!

Trish good luck at the doctor, can you look for a dr. closer to you?

t has been very busy for me, we were getting ready to come to Las Vegas and I had so much to do. I thought I had it all planned for the little dudes to be taken care off and Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM the lady that was suppose to house sit/dude/dudette sit called me to tell me she was not, she was just going to come and check on them a few times a day but was not going to spend the night with them. I was super stressed! I asked my friend to take my 3 dogs to her house, I always have her dog at my house, he basically lives at my house and she said NO she would only take Zurg, I was very disappointed, Oh well! so I had to really scramble to get this taken care off, I did! thank G-d for good neighbors!!!
I am here in Las Vegas, ready to head down to the pool! we rented a Cabana by the pool I can't wait! it is RELAXING TIME! and lots of eating I love the buffet at the Belagio, I am going to be in trouble! but I need this time to relax!

Hi, Everychickie! I had fun camping, but was a little cold! I said if I was in Alberta, I could shoot me a coyote and skin him, and wear it around my shoulders, damp side out! They all thought it was hilarious! (But I wouldn't, I was horsin around!!) I won't have much time to post or read in the next week, because of all the company, and this room being used as a spare room, but I will check in and catch up later, Hope everybody has a great week!!!

Evening all! I have been so bad on eating over the weekend I feel like a blimp today. Ugh. I have got to get this eating under control. We had lunch at an English tea room on Sat and Oh My Goodness. I won't post about it (food porn!) but I was far from good.

Yesterday we were at a Game Stop and Cass said she had to potty, before we could get her to a bathroom she pooped all over the floor. Poor baby. DH felt so bad (he cleaned the floor, I cleaned the girl) that we had caused such a big mess that he bought a Wii! We have had so much fun the past two days. We even got Cass involved in the bowling game.

Pam: You are doing great!! Whoohoo!

GG: Sorry you are having such an exhausting time at work. I hope you are able to get some rest soon.

Valarie: We start on the 3rd too. We already have our shopping done. Alex is going to Kindergarten and they mailed a list at the end of June. He only needed a few things. Good luck with your supply shopping!

Rikki: Hope your son is feeling better soon.

asaan: Good for you getting in your exercise.

fergi: Welcome back. Hope your rookie learns quickly!

Lauren: The place is called kidzville and it's in Kenilworth. Here's a linkie: http://www.kidzvillage.com/
It's exit 138 on the Parkway. Is that too far from you? If not we would love to meet you there some time.

miller: hope things are going well for you medically!!

Pear: I hate it when I think the mp3 player is set and it dies on you!! I use mine when I'm rocking the girlie to sleep and I hate it when it doesn't work. I have a Zune and I really like it. How do you like your IPOD?

Happy: Have a relaxing time!! I've only been to Vegas once and I really hated it. We were there for a wedding and I couldn't wait to get home. I was four months pregnant with Alex and I was exhausted!!

Kori: Have fun with your company!!

OK, gotta go. I'm being paged for Wii activities. Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Chickies!

Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good day... in spite of it being a Monday. I'm been doing better with food these past few days. I've also upped my exercise. Unfortunately, we're going away this weekend and I rarely make good food choices while traveling. We're going to my FIL's and last time I did nothing but swim, read and eat...

Karen ~ Wii is so much fun! We got ours back in June (thank you rebate check;-) and have had more fun playing with it. Everyone is sort of bored with it right now but I look for us to get back into it during the winter months. BTW ~ how is DH's job going?

Kori ~ have fun this week!!! All the best to you and your honey...

Hanna ~ cabana by the pool? Sounds too cool. I've never been to Vegas. Not at the top of my list LOL. Are you seeing any good shows?

Pear ~ morning exercise is the best. Gyms are crazy busy during the evening hours.

miller ~ good to see you again. Were you ever able to quit smoking? I hope that you're doing ok.

Lauren ~ I wish you some seriously good zzzzzzz's tonight...

Hi to everyone else. Sorry but I have to cut this baby short. Have a great evening Gals ~ Joan
