Ok, I can tell how you made the popcorn, but what did you do for the "buckets"? It doesn't look like frosting, it looks like paper. Love those, I saw something like that on Martha Stewart's show once.

OK, here are our first day of school pics:

Look how big that backpack is. It's about half as big as he is!

Arriving at school.

The chickie in the red dress is his teacher. Whew, I was behind her the first time she bent over (way over) and I almost saw more than I ever wanted to see of her privates!

Karen,
What a cutie. And you're right about that teacher's dress. Luckily, she's not teaching high school! The kids would never learn anything.

I like the way he's advertising his intelligence from day one!
As to the teacher. Ok, I don't want them to all look frumpy wearing odd sweaters with animals embroidered on them and horrible pants with socks and old fashioned nursing shoes...but still. How on earth does she intend to run to a kid if he falls off a swing and breaks his arm? She'd break an ankle on the way there. Plus, if she's requiring you to be extra familiar with her if she's leaning over, doesn't seem quite the thing to do when there are short kids in short desks that are probably going to be behind her with a great view of her behind. If I could get away with wearing her outfit I sure as heck would, but I wouldn't be bending over with kids around.

Karen & Lauren ~ so cute!!! What beautiful boys you both have. Now I guess that Pam and I will have to post some pics of our girls...
Holy Moly! That teacher is a hottie. She looks more like a Supermodel than a Kindergarten teacher! You should see DD's Kindergarten teacher. I don't think that I'v seen her wear anything but tie-dye and Crocs;-). Mike is convinced that she also wears pajama bottoms to school. My middle daughter used to have a preschool teacher that dressed really inappropriately. Annie is an extremely oberservant child and she noticed everything (or lack thereof;-).

Girls, great pics!!! I have some of Cady, ddin't get them off the camera yet. As for the teachers shoes, I wear shoes like that, and run in them ALL THE TIME!! When you get used to them, it's no big deal.
Lauren, sorry about what happened to Peter, some bus drivers really stink. HOpe things got worked out the following day.

Some funny pics of my kids:

Yup, Cass is in a home depot bag. And lovin' it!

Close up. She's having a great time in there.

They are already eager for halloween.

I call this one skelerincess.

How cute, Karen!!! She is just adorable!! I miss the princess days, Cady is only 5 and is not really into it anymore. She's all about Hannah Montana and more recently the Cheetah Girls & Demi Lovato (another Disney star). Enjoy it while you can
