30-Something's: TGIF!! 2/9
Hi All!
Happy Friday!! I've got a busy day ahead of me, getting Peter all registered for his new daycare, then I have to go to WalMart, because I forgot to buy two of things I went there for yesterday! Yeah...just an excuse to go. But I have to go to a different one today, because the other one did not have one pair of boy's gloves or mittens...not one!!!
Have a great day all!

Good Morning all!!! I have to work the evening shift today(we had 4 nurses quit) and it will be something I havent done in 10 yrs..I just get worried about DH and the kids in the evening cuz it is hard work with just one person..(#2 is soo unpredictable)
Lauren--No, she will not be compliant..She says she is following the diet strictly that I have been on and has gained 10lbs..she is a nanny and the kids she has do not eat right--the mom has her ordering pizza, McD's etc etc for lunch and who do U think finishes things??? I am sure she does..and just don't realize it..She was told she has an enlarged heart--and is doing a treadmill/echo today..I just worry about her...
Goddess--Stay strong almost grandmother!!! Maybe she will appreciate U more when she realizes the hard work motherhood is!!!
Off to get a quick haircut!!
Take care all!!
RR

Good afternoon, ladies!
Lauren, my middle boy let his grandma buy him gloves last week when they were shopping together because he could find only one piece of at least 4 different pairs Boys.......
I hope to stay better with healthy food this weekend - my sister celebrates her birthday tomorrow and sheŽll show us Florida-vacation pics and weŽll have a lot of yummy stuff I suppose.
Hope youŽll have a great weekend! Kirsten

RR, good luck with the night shift, hope the family can survive.
Lauren, I also love an excuse to go to WalMart. I just have a problem trying not to spend.
Becky, who is your favorite driver. I have several that I root for, mostly the cute ones.
Karen, hang on girl ~ maybe DH will have pitty once he gets better. Take a nice long bubble bath if you can.
Lisa

hey all. Work is sooooo slow today. I guess i shouldn't complain, but it makes the day go faster when i have things to do. Heck i've even caught up on all my medical records. Anyone have a sick pet they want to bring to me in savannah to give me something to do LOL. So here is what i do at work whne i'm bored...say hi to everyone. Hope everyone is good. Been doing great with food this week. Will be tought this weekend however, heading up to Atlanta to do a road rally with my DH. Should be fun...but won't be able to exercise very much. I'll just have to be very careful about my food choices this weekend. I'll check back later if work doesn't pick up. Have a great day everyone.

Lisa - I don't really have a favorite anymore. I don't like Kurt and Kyle Busch or the Bodines. I used to root for Bobby Labonte and Johnny Benson. My husband used to work trackside promotions, the first 3 years we were together. He worked for RJ Reynolds, First Plus (the 1 year Dan MArino team) and Cheerios (when it used to be under Rousch).
This yankee girl had to learn a lot about racing very quickly, since I spent so much time at the tracks.
A lot of people don't understand watching cars make continuous left turns, but I enjoy it.
IT's an excellent time to eat snacks and drink beer.

Lisa, how about this heat wave huh? :lol2: How'd your interview go? Did you hear back on your email?
Karen, nice to see you...sorry dh is being a sissy girl.
Lauren, good for you on the real estate thing!

Molly, Is that what you call it? Maybe I should find my bathing suit to tan in. (JK!!!!!) I only had the first interview and the guy never called or responded to my email. I am starting to get anxious. (sp?) If I don't hear anything soon, I may go to Elder-Beermans or the mall and apply. (Something is better than nothing). Oh and I like Tony Stewart, he is one of my guys.
Holy, glad you had a good vacation ~ wish it could have been longer for you.
