I have been very sick and today the Dr. gave me a shot of kennalog along with a Medrol pack...both of which are steroids!
I am going resist the urge to eat as well~

Yes, I had the Kenalog shot as well on 013007 along with the daily prednisone so i just knew that I would gain. But my psoriatic arthritis seems to be better for now. My biggest problem is I seem to wake up around 2-3am STARVING and my stomach feels like it is eating itself from the inside!! No matter what I do/eat for supper or before bed. So, I have bought fat free pretzels so it is not crashing the diet too badly. Does anyone else deal with that? I may gain the 5 pounds back next week, but all we can do is keep on trying to eat right and hope we do enough to counter the steriods.
I am rooting for us to WIN!!!!!

Is the prednisone what is making you hungry? I don't know much about it, so I'm not sure. I don't think it would hurt to have a few pretzels, or a yogurt or something during the night. When I was preggo I used wake up starving during the night sometimes and I would get up and have a yogurt or banana and a big glass of water...since I was peeing constantly anyway, it didn't matter!
