wow...thank you everyone! This is what I mean--the support here is amazing. Any time I really want a bowl of pasta, or start to feel badly I just log on here and see all the inspiring stories and even struggles...and it reminds me why I'm doing what I'm doing. thank you.
CeeJay--My iphone has an application called "Lose It" It's a way to track all the calories, fat, carbs or whatever else you want. I have been putting everything that goes in my mouth on my phone. It's great because you can look virtually anything up. I've been eating under 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat (on averege), and under 120 carbs (including veggies). I've been eating mostly whole grains instead of white starches (although I do have some white stuff now and then). But one of the biggest contributors is not only the support of my family, friends, and co-workers, but also everyone here! If you are wondering if you should tell people or not, go for it...it really holds me accountable! My whole office is counting calories now! =)
