After 3 weeks of losing 1 lb (total) I dropped 4 lbs all at once.*
As of this morning's weekly weigh-in, it's official: it's day #425 on plan and I sit here at exactly 140 lbs.
The weight I was for most of college, the weight I dreamed of last summer, the weight I set as my goal.
As I type this, I am wearing size 8R blue jeans from Target, with a size small long-sleeved shirt. I wouldn't have been caught dead in either a year ago, or heck, 4 months ago, as these are the types of clothing that always made me feel fat. I don't even think I wore form-fitting long-sleeved shirts at this weight in college, so self-conscious was I.
I have actually been thinking I will probably lose 5 more lbs, but hey, today is officially the day I "made it."
Onward to maintenance! (Somebody hold me.) :-)
Going to see about a few more lbs, as I think I might be more comfortable a little less (and would like a 5 lb leeway, at whichever weight I end up). Then my next big goal will be my 1 year date of maintenance. I'd like to let myself join the national weight control registry. I seem to remember that's a 3-month kept-it-off thing, but I might join later, not sure yet.
Well, anyway! Going on again! I will maybe post some before/after pics; see what I have that's recent. I do have some of me in a (forgiving, high-waisted) bikini (!!) but they're from last month. Not a big diff, though. I love this 100 lb forum, and all of you, and I plan to post in the maintainer's, as well.
*Strangely, this is the third such 'whoosh' I'd had, and all 3 times were when I didn't do my cardio routine for 4-5 days in a row -- the other times because of taking trips, and this time because of my mom visiting.

Reason: added astrick
Super congratulations, White Picket Fences! Look what you can do! If you can lose more than 100 pounds (and in pretty short order, too!) you can do anything!
Hey, White Picket--I must tell you something. The few times I have experienced WHOOSH was when I skipped cardio a couple of days and (GULP) went over on calories. It seems to always happen after I have been strictly adhering to my plan several weeks in a row.
BTW, I think you and I must have started on this about the same time. I started in June '08.

That's fantastic. I can't wait to be in your place a year or two from now. All the weight gone and able to finally be able to look in the mirror and go "Wow... that was hiding inside all this time?"
Eta: We Heart before and after photos, if you decide to post them. ^^

Thanks, you guys! Thighs Be Gone, this is random, but I think we have a lot in common because I so often relate to your posts (and I remember that we both do Friday pizza night). Garnetrising, I can't wait to see you here a year or 2 from now, either! I will keep an eye out
Here's my attempt at before/after. The 'before' pic was taken Christmas 2007. I wasn't yet weighing then, but my starting weight in August 08 was 253 and I was probably around that. Or more, even.
The 'after' pic was taken just over a month ago. I was 147/148 lbs.
Edited to add -- okay, I do have a fully-clothed, actual goal pic. From this past Friday night:
