Question What are the Best Websites for WLS Advice?

Besides this one, of course!!
I want to do more research on the sleeve and am looking for the best, mostly impartial sites. I read the forum on ObesityHelp. Is that a good one? I am sort of distracted by the ads.

Last night, I went to a local support group for WLS and met a lovely group of ladies who all had the sleeve done. I got a lot of my questions answered. Right now, I am so excited about the prospect that I can't sit down. I am just waiting for some fly to land in the ointment. I know that I must be very patient and accept that it is a long process.

Thanks All,
Pennie

ObesityHelp is a good one, however I have come to love the site LivingAfterWLS. This women has been there done that and is so full of great advice and knowledge. I hope you check it out. All of the members are so encouraging and have either had surgery or are, like you, searching for help and answers.

If you're looking for impartial information, I suggest reading through some studies. Many abstracts can be found for free on PubMed.
