Someone talk me down from the cookies...
I want sweets. We have cookies here (thanks dh :rolleyes) that I swear are calling me. I have been so so so good. I don't want to ruin it.
I can't go shopping until Wednesday. Not the best planning to start dieting on an off shopping week, but I have to say I am glad that I stopped procrastinating.
Maybe I'll make some jello.

can you have him hide them? I know I have a lot of willpower, but knowing something I was craving was within reach could be too tempting

Okay, calm down...drink some water. Maybe drink something like a hot tea.
Are you hungry or do you just have the munchies for something sweet, crunchy and fatty? If it's the latter, is it because they're there (and I'm so angry at your dh for this!), or is there an underlying issue.
Ask the dh to remove them to an undisclosed location. My ex constantly brought snacks home. He ended up with a Pringles shrine in the garage, because I was throwing them out the moment they made it into the house. (I tried to be nice about it, but he just wanted me to fail. That's probably not the case at your house.)

Make the jello
I live at home with my parents...my dad loves sweets and his job is basically a 7-11 on wheels that sits in my driveway on a daily basis... I also work as a nanny in a home where the kids only eat cupcakes, cookies and pizza... I know exactly what is is like to have everything that sounds so delish sitting right in front of you...and sometimes I eat a cookie... it happens...but be strong and make the yellow and just think how much better you will feel if you dont give in

It's because they are there. I am not even a real big cookie fan I did not have any sweet taste at all before I saw them. I "hid" them in the pantry for now, and am drinking a nice cold glass of crystal lite.
I think that these may be banished to the car when he gets home though.

I'm not into sweets either, or potato chips (and I hate the Pringles!), but there's that smell that triggers the munchies in me...I get the worst heartburn from doughnuts and I haven't eaten one in years, but when I can smell them, I almost cry!
Yesterday I walked into a Williams Sonoma. OMG! It was totally about the aroma coming from the store. A toasty spiced pecan waffle mix they had baked to tempt customers. And they had samples. Fortunately, I looked at the label and there was soy in it, which I'm allergic to. But only then could I walk away.
Go do something fun!!! You are worth it!

Are they even a good kind of cookie? Probably not. Then you're just wasting calories on a bad cookie! I agree, if it's just the siren call of the cookie, not because they're something you really want, then have hubby put them somewhere else and meanwhile, take your mind off the cookies by watching a movie, going for a walk, or something. You can do it! Just say no to the cookies.

The last time I was tempted (my sons' girlfriend brought him a choc cake) and posted, someone from here was kind enough to spit on that cake. So.....
I just spit all over your cookies. Don't tell your hubby...hehehe
Hide them, freeze them, put them outside in his car, whatever it takes, okay?
And ask your family members to keep those temptations in their own private space in the future. Nothing wrong with explaining and asking for help every now and then!
