Default Travel and Exercise Issue

I will be traveling Thursday and Friday, so I will not be able to work out those days (except for walking while on shopping breaks). I have worked out every day for 30 minutes a day for the last month and a bit. I just want some opinions on my idea. To ensure that I get the equivalent of my "normal" workout I was thinking of adding 20 Minutes a day to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays' workouts. Does this seem like a good solution to everyone. Thursday night I will be sharing a hotel room with my parents, and I really don't want to have to bring in my Wii and workout in front of them. My mother tends to be the queen of snide comments. And well Friday I'll be meeting up with the boyfriend in the evening, so there will be exercise of another sort .

Just looking for some input and other possible suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Can you walk where you will be staying? Or is there a workout facility? I know when I used to travel with my mother it was vital for my mental health to get out of the room for awhile and exercise was my best excuse. "I'm gonna take a walk, mom, back in a half hour or so!"

But I think your idea of adding minutes to your existing workouts is fine, too.

And good for you for working this out ahead of time!

Once I get to my boyfriend's I can work out no problem. I'm taking my wii with me and hooking it up to his tv. I will most likely end up going for a walk around the hotel grounds as well, just to stretch my legs at the very least. 10 hours in a car will make your legs so stiff. I just did an extra 20 minutes of exericse today, to see if I could do it, and I could, so yay me!

Does your hotel have a little fitness center? Or about doing some tabata burbpee's (if you do a google search you will find it). 2-3 sets of these will give you a great workout.

What about just jogging around the area where you will be staying? Maybe a pool for laps?

The great thing about traveling is that you get to break your routine a bit. Dragging the wii with you could be a downer, it would be to me. This is an opportunity to do something else in different surroundings. You could go for a swim in the pool, the hotel will probably have a workout fascility, or you could just walk walk walk around the area and sightsee. Whatever you do just try to do something fun that you'll enjoy. That way when you get back home you'll have missed your routine and gladly get back into it.
