In my fitness notebook I have a list of goals. On that list I have both weighing less than him and having a smaller waist than him. He is 5'8ish" and is generally between 172 and 178 and his waist is 31-32. I'm 6 inches shorter and weigh about 25 pounds more and (ACK!!!) have slightly more than a foot larger waist. I'll get there though, we all will - just keep plugging away and before we know it we can hide behind them if needed, hehe
I agree 100%. Unfortunately, my DH is shorter than me so it's a double whammy. Back when I was a blushing bride I weighed less than him so it wasn't a significant issue. I mean, I fell in love with this man so what's a girl to do?! But now that I weigh more it's incredibly embarrassing. I guess I'm just lucky that he's really supportive and NEVER makes me feel ashamed.
I would love to weigh less than my dh. He's short 5'6" but since I've known him (about 15 years) I think the most he's weighed is 150...and he promptly started running to get back into shape (140). It's ridiculous that he weighs less than me...I can't wait til I hit the 140s...hopefully by the end of this year.
Oh can I relate. I was so ecstatic to weigh less then my husband. I even posted about when it happened. Wait a sec. Okay. I just searched it and here it is......
at one point I weighed 100 lbs more than my bf. now I weigh about 60 lbs more than him. His weight is coming off very slowly right now, hehe, giving me time to 'catch up' :P
I need to lose about 30 pounds to weigh the same as my BF, and we're about the same height. As it is we can share t-shirts, but his jeans are way too small for me.
Oh yes, i totally understand! I weigh a lot more than my husband, and it's been a goal of mine since I had my twins 4 years ago, to weight less than him! Guess I better get moving! I still have a long way to go!
I did a HUGE victory dance and blog post when I weighed in at less than my husband. He's over a foot taller than me, so I still have a much less healthy body weight, but darnit I am proud I weigh less, rather than 30-40 pounds more!
Yes, totally understand! It was one of my goals too. I weighed about 30+ lbs more than he did and he's 5'9". Although, he never said anything to me or made me feel bad about it. Always supported me. Now, I finally weigh less than he does and it makes me very happy.
