Default Can vlc lead to tmi?

I've had a couple of vlc (for me) days, 1@ 1,000 burned 200; 1@ 926, burned 40.

Believe me, I'm not sticking with these figures, I'll be cycling up any day now, I just needed the shot to get me concentrating, and it's worked.

I've eaten healthy foods from a good range - but my insides seem to be really objecting! First constipation, then then opposite! I feel like Charlie Harper (2.5 Men) when he said his girlfriend's health drink was helping him lose stuff he ate in 8th grade!

Just wondered if my insides were panicking - or relieved, after a few weeks of more indiscrimnate eating.

Our bodies are remarkable on how they adapt to the crap we put in them. I've had a couple of "off" weeks since I've started and I've had the same experience. When I finally start eating healthy by body reacts a lil funky. Maybe because the "bad" stuff kinda clogs us up and our body is adjusting itself.
I've also noticed my exercising helps...move stuff along when I haven't worked out for a couple days.
So long as it balances out after a few days I don't stress toomuch about it.

Induction-level low carb diets (<>20 net grams/day) tend to constipate people until their systems adjust. Adding psyllium husks (available in the "Metamucil" aisle at your local pharmacy) to your diet as well as drinking LOTS of water helps ameliorate the constipation. I don't know about diarrhea through, that's not a typical low-carb side effect.

I think I've got a panicking stomach! I promise to feed it soon. I'm not hungry but got these weird stabbing pains, I think it's a protest!

BTW, I can totally see how people get obsessed with lower and lower. After my evening meal, I will have eaten 768 for the day, and see the temptation to leave it that low. I promise I won't but boy, it's avoiding one disaster spiral after another with weight loss, isn't it?

Well, please do not give in to the temptation. It isn't good for you at all.

No, it's ok. I'm up to 1,000 and tomorrow I start cycling up.

This has been interesting!

I walked for 30 minutes and the cramps improved; I drank some tonic water and a tiny gin; I drank a lot of tap water, so I feel more comfortable, good advice.

What horrifies me is that in the olden days, when I first lost weight, 1000 calories was the norm, advised by health clubs. I don't remember feeling this bad then!

Hm. Now beginning to wonder if I've inflamed my insides somehow, still SO painful. We don't have health cover round about at the weekends, except accident and emergency, so come Monday, when I've taken mother back home, I think I'll put my stomach in a bag and take it to the doctors. Don't like all the ouch!

Yeah, I think that visiting the doc is good advice. You might have something going on there in your tummy. You take care of yourself, OK?
