I have been taking Alli for about 3 weeks now and on occasion I have forgotten to take a pill before eating. I usually remember while I am eating or just after. I take the pill anyway even if I had already finished. My question is, if anybody knows, will I still get the fat blocking benifits during the meal if I take the pill right after meal? It just seems to me that the pill and food are still together in my stomach at that point. Thanks

According to the book, The alli Diet Plan, you can take the pill up to one hour after you eat. I thought it was that, but I double checked before I posted.
Tammy is right. I'm not on Alli but was on Xenical for a while. The food is all churned together in your stomach so the Alli has time. Fat is absorbed in the intestines, not the stomach, so the pill is working by the time it gets there.
I think it is helping. I lost 22 pounds in the first 5 weeks. I know the first pounds being water weight is the easiest to lose but I have been on diets before and I think I lost more faster this time. Both me and my hubby are taking it and so far (thank goodness) we have not experienced any side effects. We really don't go oven the fat limit tho.
Me and my DH have been on Alli for about 6 weeks now and we both have been steadly losing weight. I have to admit, we both have been lacking in the exercise department, but we have still been doing good.
