Default NSV for me: Yay!

I went upstairs to the kitchen to make some instant coffee, and was feeling hungry, I opened the fridge to find leftover pizza from dinner, I reached right past that and got out the spring mix lettuce and a tomato and onion, to make a salad.

I am so proud of myself

That's amazing. I had a similar experience this morning....I went downstairs and apparently one of my little sister's friends had stayed over last night...and they were down there eating poptarts. I LOVE poptarts...and it was so difficult to resist....but I did and it was exciting =D

Congrats on eating salad though...I still cant stand salad. I JUST got to the point where I can put lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, and onion on a sandwich...and that took me my whole life...and I STILL don't know how I feel about it. lol

I've always been weird, as a kid I liked broccoli and cauliflower, and brussels sprouts, problem was I always loved the badstuff too, and never learned to balance it I guess. Congratz on resisting poptarts. Great, now you have me thinking of those. My dad has some in the pantry, but they're his for work, so I will stay out of them.

I hate lettuce and tomato on my sandwiches -- especially hot sandwiches like chicken and burgers. Ugh!!

But, I like salad loaded up with beans and chicken. You almost can't tell it's salad.
