I'm down 4.6 pounds!!!!
Oh, I mean, good morning everyone I just had to blurt that out, because I almost fell over when I saw the numbers. Apparently, DH has some sort of a magic touch...well, we'll not go there..., but what I am trying to say is, he fixed a few things around the house this weekend with little or no effort. Our attic fan has been out of commission for a few months...DH decided to fix it on Saturday......went up into the attic....touched the cord.......and tada.....it started working!!!!!

Then I asked him to see if he would look at my sclae.......he put the battery back in.....and BLAM.......it went on. I am so glad I didn't rush out and buy a new one......I really did want my old one, and I never though it would work again. Anyway......I stepped on it yesterday morning, and almost croaked.........and it may sound funny, cuz 4.6 pounds isn't huge in three weeks........but I have been working out pretty hard everyday.....so I was prepared to be happy with any loss. It really made it feel like all of my efforts are paying off. Ok, I'm done now.........just had to share with people who wouldn't htin k I was nuts....

Also, last night after dinner, I remembered that apple picing usually starts in the first part of September or last week of August........and it was about 5:00 p.m. on a Sunday, so I figured the orchard was probably closed.........but I called to check, and they were open until 6:30.......so Dh, my sis, my mom, and all 6 kids jumped in the car, spur of the moment......drove the 25 miles.....and picked about 60 pounds of honey crisp apples. OMG.....sooo delicious. But let me tell you......I was not prepared to pay $117.00. My mom split the apples with me....so I am very curious to see how long it takes us to go through 30 lbs of appoles.........and I know, it sounds like a ton......but with a family of 8 (cuz of wooohooooo, 18 yo DD is home now)........if each of us eats 1 a day....that's 4 lbs. a day......I am guessing they will be gone in a week. Crazy, isn' it? And I wonder why we spend so dang much money of fresh foods

Ok, have to slam my coffee here and get my shred on. It will be day 22 completed the next time I sign on Have a GREAT day everyone......and work hard on you. You are sooo worth it
XOXO

Yea for Nicole!! 4.6 is nothing to sneeze about. Great loss. Makes you want to keep it up doesn't it??

Amy - hope your day gets better.

Katie - where have you been hiding? We miss your posts.

Nothing much new with me. Had a "nothing weekend" meaning that we finally had a weekend with nothing planned. It was really nice. I have no idea when the next one is but I'm already looking forward to it. I only work 4 days this week then I'm on vacation for 10 days!! I can't wait. Really don't have anything planned except starting my fall cleaning. Maybe by getting a head start on it I'll get it done sooner. We'll see how that all works out.

Better get busy. I'll be back later. Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone! I feel so good this morning! I don’t know if its because I was feeling bad last week, or maybe that we’re back into the soccer swing and my son did FANTASTIC this weekend (even if they lost 2 of 3 games – MY son did great!), or if it just hasn’t kicked in that its Monday yet… but for the moment, I feel really good! Took the dog for his morning walk and ran just about ½ of it, just for the fun of it – he looked so happy running  he was bitten by something on his evening walk last night and ended up with hives, but he was feeling good this morning. Also, it was about 75 this morning rather than the 85 its been these past few months at 6:30am! All the kids got on the bus with NOOOOO arguments this morning, so it was a load of my shoulders knowing that they would get there on time, and if they didn’t at least it wasn’t MY fault!

Anyway, I’m taking advantage of this feeling good and am setting a goal to lose weight this week! With the personal training I’ve been doing, I gained a couple of pounds and have been hovering at about 140-141. I really want to get back into the 130’s with the ultimate goal of getting to my original goal of 125, so in my lunch bag I have packed a lot of fresh veggies and fruits to get me through my day. Wish me luck!

Nicole, That is so great! Both that DH has magic hands and the weight loss. And the 22 days straight of shredding is awesome too. I bet you are feeling fitter.

Jillian, I hope baby X is not too fussy. I always feel so bad for them when they get their shots... OK with me these days it is my cats and not any babies, but still I feel bad for them when they are all cranky.

My DD went to the specialist doctor today gastro something that I can't spell and she is going to get scoped in a few weeks to check on her stomach problems since she is still sick after almost a week of antibiotics for the bacteria that causes ulcers. I'm still worried about her. I hope she is feeling a bit better by the time school starts for her.

Way to go Nicole! I would be thrilled to lose 4.6 pounds....
I have been so stressed at work that its been really tough to focus on whats going into my body. I am making good food choices but its the wine or the coolers that go along with my food that is so bad. I took a week of holidays and now I am going away again for three days so I am working from 8am to 8pm to get my work done so I can go away.
I finished my cleanse and feel quite good about it. I haven't been on a scale for a few weeks because I can tell by how my clothes fit that I haven't lost any weight. One of my account holders told me today that she figured I am looking thinner so yippee for that! even though I don't think I have....
Anyways, I have to run...work is calling my name. I will try to catch up with everyone next week.

I was inspired by Jillian's success with the Shred, so I ordered it from Amazon. Looking forward to starting on Monday. Jillian, I think you should get a portion of the profits on all these dvd sales!

I've been *mostly* doing LAWL for years now, but figured if I came back here and posted I would be forced to get focused. It's always great seeing everyone's progress!

Congrats A.J........you are going to love the Shred It is hard at first.......well, it is hard everyday....but reallly, really, rewarding

Good morning, everyone I am getting ready to go work out, but had to pump in some coffee first.

I think I am going to put my sclae away, and only WI every two or three weeks. Going that stretch REALLY helped my attitude. Losing 4.6 pounds over 3 weeks felt great when I wasn't dealing with the sclae drama every couple of days.......and really, it didn't matter at all......cuz the trend is there....so anyway, that is what I am thinking today

Ok, time to get busy. I hope you all have a very positive successful day Hang in there if you are struggling........today is a new day
XOXO

Good Morning all.

Who's making the coffee? I feel crappy today.

I have'nt jumped on the shred band-wagon yet, but am making efforts to walk at work and with my youngest son in the evenings. I enjoy the walking with him cause that is about the only time he will talk to me about things. Teenagers.

The good news is - I am gettin close to my goal. Now that I have lost back down I am not sure that I need to lose another 7-8 lbs. I dont' have any clothes that will fit and I sure can't buy any right now. I will just have to wait and see how it goes.

morning all. yet another day..workout is done and ready to face another day.

yesterday was pretty freakin' ridiculous....kid-wise. baby X had a fever and was cranky from her shots--all day long! and Jag didn't nap at all, so he was a rowdy, ruckus causing boy..and by the end of the day he was a bear to deal with. and then Julia was fine, until the last part of dinner and then her meltdown came as well.
and then DH came home from work and working out and he was feeling rather sick with a horrible headache and tummy ache, so i ended up doing pretty much everything all day and evening. it sucked. (i hope i'm able to handle it all when he leaves.)
anyways..today is another day and hopefully, not too stressful. *cross your fingers!*

have a good day everyone. keep up the exercising and positive attitudes! it's contagious!
sooooooo....all in
