Default Who STILL has a LAWL Center near you?

I apologize if this has already been covered, but I remember when everyone was reporting on which LA centers were closing. I personally thought they were all gone. (They all closed in the Nashville area where I lived.) However, I just recently moved back to East TN and was surprised to discover they have 3 in Knoxville and another one in Maryville. I understand they are franchised owned and seem to be doing quite well. Are these the only ones in TN? Also, I would be interested to hear in what other states they are still operating. Thanks.

Default franchise vs. corporate

I keep hearing that it was the corporate offices that had trouble. How are they different from the franchises? And how do you know the difference?

Jillian- Wow, that's a long time before calling you. Maybe they were just waiting until all the bad press died down. Thanks for the info.

Diane- The only way I know the difference between franchise and corporate is the employees tell me at the center. When I lived in Nashville, the center I went to INSURED me that they wouldn't be closing because they were a franchise. But, they all closed anyway.
The lady I spoke to at the Knoxville center told me they were a franchise and all the Knoxville area centers were owned by the same guy. She said they were slow during the bad press, but about 4 months ago they picked up and have been doing great ever since.
