Default Anybody using Wii for excercise?

I know it is just like any other expensive exercise equipment, once you buy it you have to get off the couch and use it! Still just wondering if anyone had tried it out?

Great to see this question up here. I just placed my order for a wii package with wii sports, and then the wii fit bundle as well. I can't wait for it to get here. I was just going to drag out my ps2 and buy DDR and the dancemat/floor for it, but all in all I figured the wii would be a better investment. I'm so excited.

I love my wii. I'm a big game person, so it does get me more active. I have the wii fit, sports active, and dance dance revolution. We just got the DDR. I was really working up a sweat trying to dance and was having a great time.

I love the Wii for working out. Wii Fit is good... but if you wanna get your butt kicked try the new Wii Active game. I even got some weight remotes to use with it to kick it up a notch.

I use both Wii Active and Wii Fit. I really like the 30 day challenge of the Active and the Yoga of the Fit. I have found that Fit is more for balance and posture and Active is better for an actual workout.

I've used it for 229 consecutive days now. Like any other exercise equipment, you have to actually USE it! I've owned Wii Fit for about 450 days now, so I guess I didn't use it much the first 200 days.

I use the WiiFit but only for entertainment purposes. I agree, it doesn't up your heart rate enough. Active I heard was really good but don't get the Julian Michaels game, every review I've read said it was awful and was really suprised that she would let her name on something so bad.

I like the wii but it doesnt get your heart rate up enough to count as significant workout equipment....I like the boxing game though....you have to keep punching....that gets my heart rate up! Thats the only game though....I havent tried active....Im going to get it for my kids...My 8 year old is a gymnast...And she has big biceps and a 6 pack...I want to keep her that way...

I enjoy mine but don't use it as my main form of exercise. I have Sports, Fit and Active and like them all. I do need to use them more though.
