Question Bruising

My partner and I are noticing that as we are losing the weight we seem to be bruising more easily. Anyone else notice this? Perhaps it is as simple as less weight = more activity = more opportunity to get bruised. Heck, pretty hard to bruise up when spending your day sitting on couch watching the tv.

could your blood be low on iron? i bruise easily, perhaps for that reason, or because i take a lot of painkillers for headaches.

I have started bruising as well. I am a vegetarian (have been for years), and after doing some research I think that I have an iron deficiency. Iron pills make me super sick. I have a doctors appointment in a few weeks to have it checked.

I agree that it could be low iron. You don't want to get low in iron as that will sap your energy very quickly. Floradix is a great source of iron; it doesn't bind you up like other supplements can.

I'm anemic and bruise easy esp if I haven't made sure to get enough iron in.
