Kristen, for more help, come on over to the SB forum! Lots of advice there and also a phase 1 thread.
I've been "on the beach" for over 2 years and still love it (cause I LOVE to eat!) The main thing is don't let yourself get hungry. Don't worry about weight so much on phase 1 but rather focus on detoxing from the bad "white stuff!". Eating lots of veggies and protein like BEANS will really help while you are going through the phase one two weeks. It is definately worth the two weeks to get you on the road to a healthier life. Also make sure you have read to the book from cover to cover.
