Made it to Day 6 on the Atkins induction phase....so far I have lost 9 lbs.

I know that is mostly water weight but it feels good to have it gone. I am going to try to do induction for 2 weeks and then keep my carb count low (increasing by 5 carbs per week but greater variety).

I have not felt great the past couple of days but I think that is normal when cutting out white flour and sugar. Today seems better..looking forward to the next few weeks.

omg, that sounds hard, some people do so well on that WOE. Yes you will have die off from sugar withdrawal. Totally normal. I think Atkins is great to break sugar addictions!

Yep, your body is detoxing from the sugar and starch. You will get an amazing boost of energy once it all clears out. Good for you!!!! Stick with it, it will change your life.

Good on you!!!! I couldn't stick to Atkins for more than 3 days so I have the most amount of respect for anyone who can stick to it! Your body is getting a good detox, you're going to be so damn happy when even more weight drops off!

Thanks everyone. I made it through the first week. I feel 100% better but really struggled during days 4-6. Not with wanting to eat carbs but with truly not feeling well.
