Default After Much thought, I'm Joining the 100 Club
After much thinking and thinking and thinking i have decided i am officially going to join the 100 pound club. My original goal was to lose 80 pounds to put me at 165 so i said to myself why not go all the way??

I have told myself i can do this and i believe i can. I dont know if any of you read my post in the 20 somethings forum but i did just gain 15 pounds back due to a very stressfull situation with my hubby being in ICU. But i am totally back on track again and ready to take it all the way. I am tired of feeling Depressed, Totally tired and just not wanting to move.. What is this teaching my kids.. NOTHING!!!!

So again i just wanted to say hi all and let you know you are stuck with me till i get this journey over!!

Shannon! Hello!

First, I hope everything is OK with your husband. That sounds pretty scary. And while you gained some weight, it sounds like you jumped right back into action when the emergency was over and are kicking those new pounds outa the house.

And I agree about taking this weight loss journey to its last logical step. There was a wonderful post a few months back which compared losing weight to going to the seaside; why would you stop where you can only see the ocean instead of going all the way down to the beach?

So come on in and find yourself a seat! We are a friendly bunch with lots of info and support to share. I think you are going to find you fit right in!

Welcome Shannon! I hope your husband is ok now. I also understand where you're coming from. I also had a gain earlier this year when my dad was very sick and in the hospital (he's fine now thank God). Its great that we're both back on track and taking care of our health. You've found a great place here.
