Exclamation OH for Goodness Sakes!

I threw a party at breaking 180. But now the 179s are getting on my nerves.

I have decreased my calories, increased my activity.

I upped my calories the day before yesterday to 1600

Yesterday I even took a major break to let my body repair. I ended up eating 1 meal because I slept 4 hours and that meal had like 500 cs in it. I usually am getting 1200-1300 day.

The scale dropped .6 lbs. Come on really???

well, the clothes I keep trying on are getting looser--so I guess I will just have to stick with that for the time being.

What usually works best is to be a little more consistent with calories. If you only had 4 hours sleep, you probably could have used more than 500 calories. And letting your body repair means you need materials (nutrients) for repair.

Stress causes weight gain, and lack of sleep plus undereating is stress...

Congrats on your progress so far! The most frustrating part of weight loss is that the scale doesn't move at the rate we want it to for the most part. Weight loss isn't linear, so if you're doing something healthy and losing with it, you just have to keep with it! Remember that the scale is and wants you to get frustrated and give up. Don't give it the satisfaction!

lol..beerab..I know what you mean...I SAW 178.6 yesterday!

I meant to say I slept regularly and then took a 4 hour nap! so pretty much slept all day. So that is why I only ate about 500 cs.

If you slept that much it means you got very little exercise. You need to move , at least take a walk if you want to lose.

I slept that much and only ate 500 cs. I still had a deficit. I took a break day because I have been working VERY HARD and the day before I was out walking for 2 hours straight in the hot sun and didn't eat until 6 pm.

Thanks for the advice though Bargoo.
