It is a total eye opener when you think you have an 80 calorie apple or banana and it really tops out at over 100. It might seem small but those things really shocked me.
As far as measuring cups and spoons I really found the scale to be much more accurate. No rounding the scoop and what not.

still to go -5%=285.2 -25lb=275.2 -10%=270.2 -15%=255.2 -50lb=250.2 -20%=240.2
-70+lb and lowest adult weight I can remember=228
