Default While I wasn't looking it happened!

This seems to be the day for it! I have less than 100lbs to loose! I started my plan 6 weeks ago, lost 26lbs and 7 inches off my waist. I can hardly believe it. I have a pair of those jeans, you know the ones we all have, that we are working to get into. The last time I wore them I was 214 but by some miracle they are loose on me now. Other things have been changing too, I have been getting "the look" from some very handsome men! Who would have thought? I have been thinking about the last 6 weeks, and for the first time, I really believe I can do it, the support of all of you wonderful people has really made a difference. I am dancing towards wonderland!

Wow!!! Just WOW!!!

You are doing so fabulously!!! I hear it in your post just how worth it you feel it is to eat well and stick to your plan. Because it IS worth it. Incredibly, incredibly worth it. Sooo, just keep on sticking with it and watch those rewards pile up. It is just the greatest feeling. Feels better than any of "that food" ever tasted. By a loooong shot.

You really, really, really CAN do this. In fact - you are!!!

Thank you so much everyone for your support! I work at a clinic and we started a new weight loss program. I thought OMG! The fat girl is going to promote a weight loss program? So I thought I should at least try it. hehe!
I guess the bottom line is lots of veggies, some eggs, cheese, fish, can have chicken too, but I'm kind of tired of that. I can have nuts, peanut butter, and apples too. Some butter and olive oil too. This was hard at first, I was eat low fat kind of girl. I don't eat pasta, bread, potaotes, things like that. I haven't been able to excercise much, hurt my back. However I have started swimming. This diet was designed to get rid of belly fat and it is working. Crackers are my drug of choice but when the school of gold fish crackers start to close in, I think about all of you and ignore them.

That's wonderful! 7" off your waist really caught my attention!

Your diet sounds really healthy. I do hope you are able to eat a larger variety of foods eventually and not go off track.

Those goldfish are just deadly, aren't they? They should be called "mini-sharks"

They are sharks, so small and so dangerous. I eat many different kinds of food, and have found some really great recipes on this site. I have really loved what I have been eating, almost felt guilty at times about it, how could something so good be good for me?

You are doing great! Isn't it wonderful when you find out that you do have the power to lose the weight? Once you figure that out it is so much easier. Congrat's to you!
