Default Reward Ideas

I'm just starting out and I already figured out two rewards - a new crochet set and a haircut at a high end salon. I need some ideas for smaller (cheaper!) rewards I can do with my mini-goals. Any input is appreciated!!

I used to do massages. They felt great especially after exercising.

I do itunes songs. When I reach my mini goal I'll buy myself a $10 or $20 itunes gift card. It's so much fun to work out to new music!

perhaps--- a new book, cd, a new and fun nail polish color, get or give yourself a manicure and/or pedicure. these have been a few of my rewards along the way so far, and they have been very helpful, and of course, fun. enjoy, and definitely, keep rewarding yourself!

Cologne, body splash, scented lotion... scented candles, scented bath oils or salts, soap... etc.

When I lost the 1st 10 lbs, I rewarded myself with a fragrance, which I haven't done in years. I'm reminded every day of the "sweet smell of success"!

I have decided not to buy clothes until I lost two dress sizes. I take it after losing one my current ones still fit but not after losing two sizes. These will be the reward. Also, I enjoy buying clothes and seeing things but *not* buying them yet will hopefully spur me on to lose my goal quicker.

In the meantime, it will be cosmetics and toiletteries. There is some things I need and I`ll get some for every pound lost. And I will make sure that it is nice stuff so that it does feel like a reward.

Go some place you've wanted to go but haven't or do something you've wanted to do but haven't. My big goal for 242 is to drive down to a particular antique store that's about 2 hours away that I've driven past a lot but never stopped at. I've also got trips to the arcade, picnics, museum trips etc.

I'm always at a loss for good non-food rewards. My instinct is a nice meal out or a cheat food or something. I gotta get out of that habit and these are great ideas. Thanks for your ideas!

I found the CUTEST shoes ever and I want them. They are expensive- $150 which is A LOT for me. However, I've made them my goal for losing 50 lbs. (I still have 17 to go to get to that point).

The shoes are bases and you use whatever ribbons you want and lace them up in a zillion different ways. So, until I get to 50 lbs., I'm buying a ribbon set for each 5 lbs. I lose- maybe I'll even go every lb. since ribbon is pretty cheap. I want some sexy shoes to go with my increasingly sexy legs!

I love the idea of rewards for mini-goals. See mine below.

All these suggestions are great. But I vote for the new workout clothes. I always feel more motivated in new workout gear. Keep up the good work!
