Default How many inches is "normal" to lose in a week?

I've just started taking my measurements; never had in the past, so I don't know what is "normal" for me in the loss department. This week it looks like I've lost a whole inch off my waist...does that seem realistic or is it more likely other factors like water weight, posture, and human error in reading a measuring tape upside down?

Default I think its normal

I think thats normal....At least when they measured me after 5 weeks I lost a total of 9 inches....2 off my belly so a inch is definitely a good thing! Congrats!

My waist measurement can vary by up to 2 inches depending on the time of day, time of month, whether I've eaten, etc..
So I don't really trust it, I just look at the trends (just like with the scale). I wouldn't worry about whether the inch that you lost is "real" or not. I'm sure you're moving in the right direction.
