Default Two milestones today!!!

I had such a great day today! First, I turned down cake! Then when someone brought me a piece (trying to be nice, didn't know I was dieting. I try not to broadcast it), I thanked her and set it aside. When no one was looking, I threw it away! It was chocolate and smelled soooo good!

Now, normally I would fit in a small piece of cake into my points (ww at home plan), but I knew I had a lot of temptation this weekend, so I decided to skip it. It felt so good knowing I could have it if I really wanted it, but making the conscious decision not to in lieu of other, more point-worthy treats later.

Next, a friend who I have not seen since I was at or close to my highest told me I looked like I lost weight! She actually said, "well, hello skinny!" when she saw me. SKINNY! Now, I am not delusional, I know I am far from skinny, but it is nice that someone noticed I am I working on getting there!

So, a great day for me, and I think it will give me the motivation I need to stick on plan this weekend. We are at an indy car race all weekend staying in the RV (so convenience foods) and watching the race from the suites (so lots of goodies and high fat stuff). It may not be easy, but I can do this!

Thanks everyone! I realized today I hit another milestone. My BMI is 39, so I am officially obese (out of the morbidly obese category FOREVER!!!!)

This site is one of the major things that keeps me going!

Good for you! One of my greatest moments was when I threw a warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie in the trash (and didn't fish it out)
