Unhappy Tingling in extremities?

I wasn't really sure where to post this, so I figured I'd post where I usually "hang out", so to speak.

Have any of you ever had tingling arms and legs? Not as prickly/painful as pins and needles but more-so like your limbs are dead weight and you can't really feel them? This happened to me a couple of years ago, but it went away. The symptoms are back, but now it's spread to my feet and hands..when I had the problem in the past it was only in my legs. I've been having this problem for a couple of days. I'm not sure which doctor to call first. General practitioner to check for diabetes, high blood pressure, or circulatory problems? Neurologist? Chiropractor?

Any input is greatly appreciated, it's really starting to worry me and I want to make an appointment as soon as possible.

Thanks chickies~

Go see your GP. That's the best starting point. Your doctor is in the best position to run initial tests and decide whether you need to see a specialist.

JayEll is right. I would head to the doctor and see what they say. Sounds like one of those things that could be linked to lots of other things, so best to just head in and get a professional opinion.

I agree. Your general practitioner will know what tests to do and where, if anywhere, to send you once he gets the results.

Thanks everyone for the advice I made an appointment with my GP for Wednesday at 11:45am. I wanted to make it for tomorrow, but she's not available on Tuesdays :[ I guess a two day wait isn't so bad, eh?
