Default Overweight and Shopping in the Regular Stores!

I just wanted to share with you all that I've dropped into the overweight category from obese! I am so happy, and to celebrate I went shopping.. and I bought stuff in the regular stores! I could fit into stuff at the GAP and I bought a pair of size 16 jeans from Old Navy and an XL shirt from H&M! It's such a different experience to walk out of a store and not buy something, not because it didn't fit, but because you didn't like it.

I always go into these stores to buy clothes for my kids but rarely look for myself.. when I do its all about the accessories rather than the clothes. It was so nice! I've lost a little over 30 lbs since I started in February and I couldn't of done it without you guys. Thank You!!!

Old Navy on line is decent for sizes 14 and 16 - more stuff than the stores. I was disappointed in a bathing suit from there - very flimsy, no support.

I like Kohls a lot. They have a nice selection.

I understand what it's like to leave the store not having bought anything because it didn't fit so I'm very happy for you that you are buying regular sizes. Keep up the good work.

Its the little things that count! I remember how thrilled I was to fit in a pair of large sweatpants (from the "regular" section of the store)!
