Default the fat on my body is changing

Ive noticed that the fat on my body is changing..it used to be hard and tight especially around my waist. Now its quite loose and soft..I think this is because Im not eating high fat and high sugar foods anymore maybe Im losing inches too...

That's interesting ... I wonder what it means. Can't wait to see what some of the more experienced chicks say.

I've read from many sources that when the fat starts to get "jiggly" that means it's on it's way out. That you lose the intramuscular fat FIRST and the outer fat is losing it's grip on it. Hence the jiggly. I TOTALLY experienced this. My upper stomache used to be QUITE hard and now it's very soft and pliable and I've lost 14 inches off of my waist alone.

Keep on keeping on!

This really happens?

Oh joy. This means I'll be able to bend over much sooner than I expected. This belly fat is almost as solid as my pregnant belly was! (And no one volunteers to help you with your boots.)

I've got some squishiness happening too. Kind of disgusting, but if it means it is going away, I'm all for the squishies!!

Yea, squishy happens!
I remember from last time (and this current one will truly be The Last, I promise!) that first it got squishy, then it moved around in strange formations, I lost lop-sidedly. Also, I have 2 spare tyres, an upper and a lower. Sometimes the lower lost before the upper, and that created some weird shapes. BTW, my skin retrieved its elasticity fine.

Only today, I noticed at the gym that my trainers were tied with the knot in the centre! I realized that when I've put my foot up on a step to tie it, there's been so much of me in the way that the knot was always at the side - now it's central!

Hurray for squishiness!

Thank you, thank you Gloria, and also Mug, for addressing this all important topic. Until this moment, I thought I was squishing alone!!! However this is not to be confussed with plodding because I knew already I had the 3fc army plodding behind me, just didnt know about the squishy part.

Someone else noted this one here once and so I started to pay more attention to it on my own body... I, too, have been experiencing the squishies.

I've lost 14 inches off of my waist alone

OMG! Really???? Man I WISH I had taken measurements when I first started, but I was afraid. Well, according to the Catherine's size chart, I started in August as a size 32 which they say is a waist of @ 54 inches, and on Monday I bought a pair of size 16s which they say is a waist of 38 inches (I need to measure though; I think my waist's smaller than that).

So, wow, according to that, that's about 16 inches. I'm right there with you sista! We rock!!

The posters on a low carb website I used to frequent called this phenomenom "jiggly puff".

Jiggly Puff IS a good thing, I usually get a visit from the whoosh fairy within a few days of noticing that things are getting squishy.

The squishiness goes away.... right? I do weights and my upper arms have all that squishy, droopy skin, and I am really hoping that all that goes away.....
