Default Work Out Playlist

I was just wondering what songs you ladies like to workout to. I finally got my mp3 player back from my brother but he deleted all of my workout mixes. Any suggestions?

I have a wide range of things on my mp3. Metal, 80's new wave, classical, rap and even some songs from a Zumba cd. The best thing is to have music you know you will want to listen to and that will get you in the mood to work out.

I have a lot of 80's pop and 90's party rap. Anything that puts a smile on my face and has a faster beat.

When I was working out I loved listing to Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Stadium Arcadium album, and any album by The White Stripes.

Default music

well there is this great song out there that most gyms have that they play as one of the last songs during a class its called the final count down im not sure who its by or where I found my copy but its got a great beat and when your finishing that last 10 minutes or so I will play that for that last push it really gets me going then I will play boom boom pow to keep it going. strangly enough I like to listen to heavy stuff like metalica or rage against the machine when the work out is hard or long for some reason when its tough I like the hard angry stuff to get me mad enough with this whole weightloss thing to actually finish with attitude!!!! It works for me.

I'm into some funk and older music, I particularly like to listen to She's a Bad mama jama by Carl Carlton, Brick House by The Commodores, You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate, Piece of my Heart by Janis Joplin, La Bamba by Los Lobos, Touch my Body by Mariah Carey, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison... lol a lot of these have a certain theme don't they? I basically like any song talking about a sexy woman because it makes me envision how I want to look

Amy do you get 103.5 KTU where you are? My playlist consists of many songs I hear on that radio station, but its NYC and I don't know how far south Jersey you are.

I love songs that make me feel like I'm in a movie montage. How has nobody mentioned the Rocky theme, "Eye of the Tiger" or "You're the Best" (Karate Kid II)?!
