S/C/G: 307/lost 140+ lbs/125

Default I didn't gain on vacation, I lost!!!

wow!

I got on the scale this morning and I fully expected to gain or maintain my weight after several days of overeating (even if it was on healthy foods like nuts & fruit and lean poultry, etc. I never ate junk food from the food stalls at the Seattle folklife festival.).

Smack me dumb, I LOST weight! 2.4 lbs!!!

I'm now 170.8 lbs!

(*Finally, I drop 2 lbs after losing half a pound to just under a pound for the last several weeks!)

I think it's largely because I did some big calorie cycling for several days (think 3-400 calories more than usual) and changed my exercise routine from after three days of high intensity weight lifting/elliptical in the gym to miles of walking in a hilly area either at a leisurely pace or a brisk pace for the rest of the week.

whatever it was that caused me to lose this much weight in one week, I'm thrilled!

(*And yes, I'm also learning my lessons here in being careful not to make overeating a habit & taking it easy here!! I'm a slow learner but I am learning!)

Awesome! I have a huge vacation planned at the end of the summer (6 weeks of road tripping around the US) and I'm really scared I'll regain all the weight I've lost. Spending hours in a car is not exactly calorie burning!!
