Default Food scale question!

I found a scale I used to use for EBay, its digital and I used to to weigh things for postage. Do you think I could use this for a food scale instead of buying a specific food scale? TIA.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't. Does it have a tare feature so you can zero out the container you are weighing? As long as it is accurate, there is no reason you should need to get a new scale.
