Default Very gungho!

Hi, I posted on the biig forum but wanted to say hi in here as well so HI! Ive basically been on Phase II but with a few exceptions for about 6 weeks now. I am 34 weeks preggo and when I found out I had GD I had to watch my food intake. I began looking into SB and of course bought the book lol. I realized this was basically the same I have been doing and seeing results. Ive lost 10 pounds since finding out about the GD. Pre-preg I was 210, at 28 weeks weighed 225, but now am 215.
Im so excited to rrally get going. Ive already made my menus for all of phase 1 and have made my grocery list. My goal is 140ish by the beginning of next year when my hubby will be returning from Afghanistan. If not then hopefully this time next year.
Hoping to make new friends along the way as well!

to the Beach.

Although SB is a very healthy lifestyle, Phase I is NOT recommended for pregnancy. Better check with your doctor. I'm sure he/she will approve of Phase II but you should not be trying to lose weight when pregnant, IMHO.

Oh no no, Im not doing P1 until 6weeks PP. Ive just already made my menus. I was very concerned when I started losing weight but the Dr said it's ok because it's just from eating healthier. I was eating a lot of bready stuff! The baby's weight on u/s is still on target.

Great! It threw me for a minute. Are you planning to breast feed? If so you will need to postpone Phase I for a while.

Raising my coffee mug in a toast to a healthy baby coming soon. Please keep us posted and your wee one will have lots of Beachie Aunties and Grannies.

Lol thanks!

I'll be breastfeeding only the first 6 weeks.

I've got it all planned out... well hopefully I stick to it.

Thanks again!

Hi and Welcome

It sounds like you are doing great, and your baby is coming soon! Do you have other children? I have 2 dogs, a cat and a husband...my children.

For me, planning is everything right now! You are right on track! With your positive attitude you will do great!

I am fairly new here. I lost a bit of weight on my own, but started heading back up this winter. I have made a u-turn and am finding lots of support and friendship here.

I am on day 12 of P1 and am heading out the door church and a potluck. I planned ahead and will eat healthy today.

Take Care

Debbie R.

Talking

Hi Debbie!
Kudos for turning it back around!
I do have another child, an Angel rather. I have a weak cervix and without a stitch cannot carry to term. We didnt know that last year and I delivered a 23 week baby girl. Ive had a cerclage this time enabling us to get this far.
I also have a dog, we think a dachsund mixed with a minpin.
And of course my overgrown childish hubby lol.

Oh, how I wish I would have eaten healthy during my pregnancy. My 'baby' is 5 and I'm still 20 pounds heavier than I was before pregnancy. Congratulations to you for making good decisions!

Welcome to the beach! I found this long after my son was born but it really does help you to be healthier.

I had my babies years ago. Lucky you, to find SB earlier than I did. Good Luck with everything.

You've probably noticed we love our morning coffee conversation, so come on and join us!!

Good for you eating well during pregnancy - I was HORRIBLE!! Probably because I could. I was just as bad while nursing...definately because I could!! This diet is such a good example to our children though. They'd be astounded to know what I ate before!

Good luck!!

Great Job, I gained all of my weight each time with my three pregnancies and then have to battle for years to lose the weight I gain. My youngest is 5.
