S/C/G: 307/lost 140+ lbs/125

Default I'm Burning Fat!!!

Sheesh!

I've never been thin my entire LIFE. Always been at least 20-40 lbs overweight from the time I was like 10 or something.

I've been exercising consistently since I first decided to lose weight, and today, as I left the shower area in the gym after an hour on the elliptical and passed the mirror to my locker, I noticed I'm getting a SHAPE in my waist/hipbone area! And I'm also beginning to see some muscle in the upper part of my abs! (*the lower part of my abs, forget it... I got a lotta flab there still!)

I whistled to myself and thought "dang, girl!"

I can't wait to see more fat burned off so I can get a better idea of what the heck I'm gonna look like as a skinny, buff 3fatchick!

Anyone have those days?

That's great to hear I remember the first time I noticed "myself". Such an incredible feeling. KEEP GOING!

If you want to get rid of the "pooch" do reverse crunches. You lay on your back and lift your legs at a 90 degree angle, and then lift your butt up and bring your knees in slightly, and hold for a second or two, and then go back down.

I can't wait to get to that place that you're at! Congrats!

Sorry to break it to you, but you cannot spot reduce fat. Doing reverse crunches will add muscle definition to your lower abs, but you will not be able to see it until the fat is gone. So best thing to do is keep up with cardio.

But it will help work the muscles which will tighten up and in turn will whittle the stomach down a bit. After the fat is gone then the muscles will already be there to show off!
