Default it's the weekend.....

well another weekend is here and i know that i struggle with them especialy since do not do any exercising and i eat out of boredom. and i have a feeling i am not the only one that has this problem. i was hoping all of us who have a hardtime staying op over the weekends. but i hope if we all get together we can over come the struggles of the weekend.

my plan of attack is to exercise ( i have the 3FC mother's day 5k to do). and i also want to really pay attention to what i am eating and when i am eating it.

what about you?

Hunkering down and sticking to it! And deciding NOT to obsess about it being a weekend, because I used to spend 5 days worrying about it and two days white knuckling it. Now, I try hard to view Saturday and Sunday just as two ordinary days...
Hang in there!

You have to plan, plan, and plan some more! It's hard when there are festivals, parties, etc going on but you can pull out of the weekend with no regret

My oldest is turning 8 on Sunday so I know I'll have to make sure I keep myself on my toes....cake is my absolute weakness & could probably eat the entire thing. I have enlisted family members to be my food police, mainly for the cake (I usually don't but this month alone we are celebrating 8 birthdays...ugh).

weekends... and the nicer weather coming to add to it make it harder to stay on plan... my family usually goes out to eat on the weekends so I need to be better at eating better foods... hoping one day it won't feel like staying on plan and will feel more like truly just a lifestyle.

I will have this problem this weekend for sure, and because I'm PMSing it's going to be even worse. I did yard work for nearly two hours when I got home tonight (shoveling mulch), and tomorrow is spin class. Sunday I will probably fit in a 30 day shred workout and maybe some yoga. I have plans all day tomorrow, so avoiding food shouldn't be that bad until evening. Sunday is going to be the worst day for me, as usual. I'm going to hang in there, though, because weigh-in is Monday and I would like to see a good loss.

i know i do the same thing and then everything falls apart for me. i usually end up playing catch up during the week and once the weekends roll around all that is gone and i have to start over. one forward and 2 backward. it sounds like you have a good attack plan. good luck.

i have the opposite problem the weekends are usually easier for me during the summer. when ever we go some where for a picnic there usually is so many other things to do that eating is the last thing on my mind and the activity is aboundant.

any way so far so good for me this weekend i want to try and exercise 2x today. but i do not know if that will happen i need the weather to clear up a little. it stil looks like we could get more rain yet today. well good luck everyone.

I've always found that weekends are when I blow it. What helps me is to make a weekend meal plan in advance. When I write it all down and know what and how much to eat, I'm more likely to have a good weekend. It's not foolproof, but a big help.
