So, after the whole Cracker Barrell "salad" debacle and being a zillion points in the hole as a result, this week was kind of a "meh" week. I didn't do any of the recovery efforts I'd planned to do. I didn't overeat terribly (and, in fact, am quite proud of the fact that I stayed within points on a day when DS surprised his dad and me with a dinner at Red Lobster!), but I also didn't really pay that much attention to what I ate this week. (I did log everything except for today, though.) I managed to drink more water, but not that much more. I got to the gym exactly zero times.
So, I am fully expecting a gain tomorrow morning. I'm okay with it, only because I know that there is no one to blame but me. Even the 53 fat gram salad isn't to blame; I made a half-hearted attempt to turn it into a learning experience, but then didn't follow through. That's *my* fault, not the salad's.
So, tomorrow begins a brand new week. And as long as I start fresh AND REALLY MEAN IT, I'll be fine.
