Today I weigh 191, which takes me out of severely obese into plain old obese - and 51lbs lost from original start weight 34lbs lost since 01/27/09.
To say I'm pleased is an understatement, not just because
I'm Well away from the 200s now
I'm on my way to my June 14 target (179)
but because my college trip Sunday/Monday, had lots of traditional trigger moments to break the Plan plus lots of emotional triggers 'to have just one...', and I ignored them all. It's not quite quite automatic yet, in fact it's at the stage of 'look at me! I'm resisting!' (inwardly, I don't impose the thought process on others) but it's so nearly automatic that I'm delighted.
Well aren't you just amazing? Yes, you're obese (yay!!!), and I know just what a relief that is, but I'm more blown away by your attitude and your determination. Staying on plan though out of your "comfort zone", out of your element and faced with temptation. THAT'S what it's all about.
Obese? Not for long honey. Not you. Nu-uh. I am seeing overweight in your future. And then we know what's next - "normal". Ahhhhh.
You and I have some of the same stats. We are the same height and age but I started at a much higher weight than you. I love watching your postings as I feel like you are leading the way for me! You are truly inspirational! I have gotten very excited looking forward to 217 and downward. There are so many major milestones between 217 and 190 for us 5 foot 2ers.
This is absolutely incredible. What amazing work you have accomplished and in such a timely manner. You feel amazingly proud as well you should! Congratulations! Happy Birthday wishes coming your way.
