Default Yummy burger

500 gm minced turkey
300 gm raw potato, grated
2 Tbsp dessicated coconut
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp crushed chili flakes
some salt and pepper

Squidge it all together in a large bowl with your hands and make into 4 large patties.
Fry (yes really) in 1 tsp canola for about 15 minutes, turning. Do it gently, because it doesn't hold together too well until it's cooked.

The sweet potato caramelizes on the outside and this is just the yummiest burger.

Sounds yummy; I usually add 1 egg white to my burgers to help them stay together better ...

mmm that sounds sooo good! I tried out a new recipe last night. It was called tortilla black bean casserole. sooooo good! It's just black beans, onions, green peppers, some spices, and cheese... and then you layer it in between tortillas and bake for half hour or so. So easy! Minus the carbs in the tortilla and the calories in the cheese...it's pretty good for you haha. I think it was around 350 calories per serving and with all the beans/protein it was soo filling! I'm gonna have to try that burger out sometime too!
