I have read in numerous posts across the various forums that some people like to have a lot of protein with their meals because it makes them feel full longer. But what I'm stumped by is: how many grams of protein does that mean?

For example, for dinner tonight I had 23g protein:

-- 12g protein in 12oz of roasted brussel sprouts
-- 11g protein in 3 chicken/pineapple teriyaki meatballs

Is that considered a lot of protein, average, only a little? I really have no concept, and when I googled USRDA on protein a couple weeks back when this same thought also hit me, I found it difficult to find pertinent information.

I aim for 30% of my calories as protein. Today I ate 1400 cals. FitDay tells me that I ate 93 grams of protein for the day, and my target was 103 grams. So, I ended up at 27% protein cals.

23 grams of protein for dinner seems OK. One of my meals today had 22 grams. But you can eat more than that per meal, too!
