I love Pilates! I'm glad I found it years ago and that is the one thing I have done over the years that I really like. I tried spinning once, I didn't like it, but maybe it was the teacher, I don't know. Maybe I will give it a shot again in May or June.

I love spinning; my sister is a certified instructor and she has bikes in her house, so three times a week we have a private spin class. It's kind of awesome. Anyway, give it a couple classes and the bike will stop hurting your hooha so much. Or you can invest in padded shorts, but the pain really does go away fairly quickly, if you keep at it on a regular basis.

Good for you! It's good to do things that are different. I haven't tried it yet but plan to- worried about my own Hooha!
I did a Cardio Kickboxing class on Monday for the first time. I loved it BUT we had to do some jump rope and I did more of it than I should. It was jumping rope at Easter 2008 that caused my plantar fasciitis drama that I've been coping with for the last year. Now that I've lost some weight the foot problems have lessened but apparently not enough to be able to do the kickboxing class. Bummer. I haven't been able to work out for a day because my poor feet needed recovery time.

Bindersbee...that stinks..hopefullly your foot will get better! I wish we had a kickboxing class..I would love to try that! It seems like it would be really fun.
I'll let you know how the hooha feels after todays class..this will be the 2nd one and there was a day of rest in between so hopefully...it won't be as bad as the first day!

I've always wanted to try spinning, but yeah, the sore girlie bits have kept me from trying it. Pilates is great. I actually haven't done Pilates in about 14 years. I was a dancer in my former life, and Pilates is an important part of dance.

I love pilates! I just started this Bollywood dance workout class, it's amazing!! My inner thighs are burning from all the funky "squat, shake it, and jump" dance moves. I don't think I've ever laughed and smiled so much during an INTENCE workout.
