Default Anyone heard of Moban?

Hey chicks, just wonderign if anyone has ever heard of moban or tried it, my doctor is switching me from abilify because i have gained 60lbs on it, so i was just wondering what to expect from my new meds....

Yes.Moban is an antipsychotic used to treat patients with schizophrenia.This medication has a risk for a side effect called tardive dysknesia.I would suggest talking to your MD again before taking this.Its not usually prescribed for depression.There are some antidepressants that have a low risk for weight gain.Good luck.

yes i read that about moban but he told me it was abilify or moban no other choices he absolutely refused to put me on cymbalta which is what i asked for.... i think i nead to find another doctor

Antipsychotics are in a different class of medications than antidepressants.Did he give you a reason why??

yea he said cymbalta wasn't what i needed to treat my symptoms, which are basically depression... i am also on wellbutrin but he is adamant about not giving me cymbalta, im looking for a different doctor now... don't know if that will help or not but we shall see
